Angry Birds Seasons – Sand, Surf, Pigs, Threatened Bird Species. It all comes together in a new update!

It’s spring break time y’all!

Everyone is going off to the beach for a week, and the Birds are no exception. Time to relax and take in some sun on a warm sandy beach, maybe go for a swim. You know, just take a break from the daily grind of popping pigs all the time –wait a sec. This place is crawling with pigs. They just can’t get a break can they?!

If they ever get rid of those pigs, maybe the birds will have some time to take in the local wildlife, or at least relax for a minute…

Speaking of invasive species (ahem, pigs)… BirdLife!

Human beings have traveled all over the world. We get around. As people have visited remote islands over time, they have inadvertently carried stowaways on their ships. And when I say stowaways, I mean rats. Yikes! In many cases rats have gotten onto remote islands, and upon arriving, they have found a habitat full of food! Yes! Unfortunately for the birds that live on these islands, when I say food, I mean bird eggs 🙁

Soon enough, the rats were eating so many bird eggs that the birds were in danger of becoming extinct! That’s where BirdLife International comes in. The good people of BirdLife have been protecting threatened species of birds on these remote islands by controlling the rat populations, allowing the bird eggs to hatch. Less rats = more eggs = more baby birds = more adult birds. Yay for birds!
