Angry Birds Thanksgiving Feast: Day 5

Thanksgiving is officially over, and Black Friday is in full swing. However, we have one last holiday course.

Friday: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Leftovers

What do you mean no one wants leftovers?! Leftovers are the best part of Thanksgiving! As such, today’s T-giving instalment is the delicious icing on the giant turkey cake.

Yesterday, we shared a tweet that looked something like this:

Not even New York can keep Red’s anger tied down for much longer… #AngryBirdsMovie #MacysParade pic.twitter.com/yuMvzEmTpD

suggesting that maybe a certain red colored Angry Bird was going to make an appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Our boy seemed to be trapped under some kind of net, I suspect the pigs were happy to see that.

Thankfully (get it), those nets were not enough to contain this bird’s anger, not even in balloon form, and Red’s ginormous likeness was indeed successfully paraded through New York in all of its angry splendor.

Thanks #NYC for cheering Red on! #MacysParade #AngryBirdsMovie pic.twitter.com/W6KMc2pMZS

I’m getting a strong Stay Puft Marshmallow Man kind of vibe here. If I was a pig, I would be shaking in my boots. But since I’m not a pig, let’s take a closer look.

If you are a pig, here’s a less scary wide shot.

So who saw the parade? Was anyone there in person? If so, share your pictures on Twitter with the hashtag #AngryBirdsMovie and show us what you got!
