Behind the Scenes with the LG G4!

Monday again. Back to work. Some of you may even be going back to school already. Well, today we’ve got a treat in honor of everyone’s favorite day of the week. We’re taking an inside look in a typical day at the office. Luckily, when I say “office”, I mean the set of the Angry Birds 2 launch trailer. Whew – no cubicle pics in this blog!

The shoot took place deep in enemy territory on a group of islands in the Bahamas inhabited only by swimming pigs. Yikes! Fortunately, most of the filming was done on an island away from those swindling swine, and the pigs were added later with, what I think is called “movie magic” in the biz – stop me if I’m getting too technical. See below:

The first frames are unchanged, straight outta the camera. Next, grey pig models are added digitally. Last, the pigs are given some life-like details, and voilà – pigs in parachutes!

So anyway, we happened to have a couple of these new LG G4 smartphones on set, and we said “Hey, these things have awesome cameras. Why not give one of these bad boys to a pig and let him film behind the scenes? What could go wrong?” See what could go wrong in the video below:

Well, Minimal damage. Not too bad – for a pig.
