Fan Friday – Kelsy’s Meditations

One magnificent fan has has created her very own Angry Bird. Her name is Kelsy – the bird, not the fan. The fan’s name is Natalia Villarrubia. We’ve been enjoying Natalia’s art and other posts on Facebook for some time now so it’s about time we highlight at least one!

Awesome! Let’s take a closer look at that text.

“I want you to come with me. We will both create an infinite universe.”

“Our path will be lit by many stars, our wishes will be fulfilled and come true.”

“The blue color of the sky and the green of nature painted our world full of liberty and love.”

And last:

“Appreciate what you have in life.”

Wait. Liberty? Love? This doesn’t sound angry at all! Kelsy takes a markedly different approach than the other birds on Piggy Island. She seeks a world full of peace, and tranquility – something the Angry Birds are not so accustomed to.

But isn’t that what the birds ultimately want in life? They simply want to live on their beautiful island in peace without fearing for the safety of their eggs! If it weren’t for those crooked piggies… Perhaps Kelsy can influence the pigs to appreciate what they have. After all, they do have positive qualities about them – determination, ingenuity, optimism, a strong sense of community, cheerfulness. They just need some guidance.

Whatever happens, those are some of the most powerful words I have ever heard from a bird. Thanks Natalia!
