Monday Mailbag – Jamie sides with the green guys

We received a troubling letter from a fan not long ago. Jamie writes:

We heard from Jamie (or James) back in September when he wrote to us with some ideas for new birds and some pretty impressive drawings. Obviously, the pigs have gotten to Jamie and have brainwashed him with their piggy propaganda. Right?

On second thought, Jamie’s concerns about the pigs are understandable. On Golden Island, the pigs take abuse both from Stella’s clique AND from Gale. However, Stella and her friends don’t necessarily want to hurt the pigs, mischievous as they may be. It’s just that the pigs are so firmly under Gale’s spell that they will do whatever she wishes. If that means destroying Golden Island to find the Golden Egg, so be it. That’s not cool for Stella and the gang, and they must fight through all of the pigs to get to Gale. Unfortunately, that means that the pigs get beat up quite a bit (இ﹏இ`｡)

But don’t give up on the birds just yet Jamie! They only have the wellbeing of Golden Island at heart. Maybe (with the help of minions like Snickerdoodles) Gale’s spell over the pigs can be broken and the birds and minions can live in peace! Although, if one of the pigs could just knock the crown off of Gale’s head, that would be a start (◉‿◉)
