The Angry Birds 2 – New PvP Arena!

There’s a new Angry Birds 2 update available right now, and it’s giving the Arena a total revamp. Let’s set the mood:

Now, when you enter the arena, you will be matched with a real opponent of the same skill level. It’s your job – no, your duty to give it your all and beat your opponents score!

As you know, the Arena takes the form of an endless multi-stage level. Cause as much destruction as you can to earn more cards and get through as many stages as possible. More destruction = extra cards = more destruction = higher score = more win. But I digress.

So what’s new? Direct your eyes to the top of the screen while playing an Arena challenge and you’ll see a progress bar with your score on one side and your opponents on the other (see below).

This will give you a little guidance as to how your score stacks up against your opponent’s. Keep the blue bar just right of center and you’re on track.

The player vs. player contest is underway, champions. Get the update and enter the Arena!

While you’re taking a break from the arena, the latest update also adds a new area with 20 new levels (more coming soon), get ready to scale Mt. Evernest!
