Today marks a very special occasion – the Angry Birds YouTube channel has reached 2 BILLION views! To celebrate we’re looking back at the best videos on our channel in the first ever Golden Feather Awards!

With videos nominated by our flock, the winners were chosen by our panel of expert judges. And when I say “panel of judges”, I of course mean “me, myself, I, Lark, and Mr. Kent”. Although all nominees brought there own awesomeness to the table, e.g. the retro goodnes of the AB Transformers VHS-Rip trailer, or the fast-paced downhill action of the AB Go! trailer, but only one was filmed in outer space. I mean, come on. Freakin’ space! You really can’t beat that.

This April, Angry Birds Go! introduced Local Multiplayer that allowed players to challenge their friends in face-to-face downhill races. The “All By Myself” video totally encapsulated that feeling of playing in social isolation, and totally got that song stuck in my head every time.

On February 7th 2014, Angry Birds Star Wars 2 was updated with 8 new characters – including Han Solo Bird frozen in carbonite! With the update, came this animated gem and some insight into what it’s like to be the most notorious bounty hunter in the Angry Birds Star Wars world. Turns out, it’s pretty painful. Poor Boba just can’t win 🙁

Since it’s debut in 2009, the original Angry Birds trailer has amassed a kajillion and a half views on its own. What’s the secret to the success? According to the guys behind the trailer, “We wanted to do something crazy!”. Looks like it was just crazy enough to work. Thanks guys!
